"You're one of those forest cats, right?" The pretty, gray tabby asked. She gracefully leaped down from the fence and padded towards Bulkhead with soft paws lightly touching the ground.

Bulkhead stared down at the beautiful kitty-pet and gulped as gazed up at him with lovely violet eyes.

"Bulkhead, right?" She gave a twinkling little laugh. "I heard your friend name both you and your little yellow friend."

"Er...." Why had it suddenly become difficult to speak?

Tulip tilted her head and gazed at him curiously. "You are Bulkhead right?"

Finally, he managed to speak.

"Bulkhead...er...yeah...that's me. I'm Bulkhead!"

Bulkhead's heart skipped a beat when she let out a gentle laugh and purred, "Well, Bulkhead, I'm Tulip."

Bulkhead never heard a more beautiful name than that.

A short little piece for 's story that centers around my TFA Warrior series. Bulkhead's developed a crush on a sweet, pretty kittypet named Tulip. She made his crush adorable in the story!
